Drawn together through a love for music, something magical happened the first time they met. “He had a guitar in his hands the day I met him!” Sheryl said with a laugh.
Based in the northern suburbs of Chicago, this duet creates a sweet harmony that is their signature sound. This delicious ear candy paints a picture in people’s minds with their own interpretations. Channeling retrofitted rock into catchy riffs and pop beats, the music of The Sheryl and Tom Duet captures the echo of times past.
They have an impressive arrangement of classic oldies and a generous set list to please music lovers of all ages. They continue to explore original ideas for a unique and irresistible style and hold a belief in the untapped potential of the music.
Tom is a charismatic singer and dynamic guitar instrumentalist. Tom says, “The whole is greater than the sum of the parts. We like to have fun. Fun is the most important thing.” Born in the north suburbs and influenced by blues and rock and roll, he melds the two styles through his guitar. His philosophy is, "If it sounds good, play that!"
Born in Chicago, Sheryl is a wide range vocalist who sings both lead and back up, and also plays light percussion. Influenced by the energy of the city and life near the lake, she writes most of the original music and lyrics for the band. A huge fan of the perfect two and a half minute pop song, her music often has a wholeosme 1950's flair. She is an animated performer who claims, “It’s the music for your mind and body. It will make you want to dance and sing along. We weave a tapestry with our voices and I love the harmony!”
Together they are the mainstay for this wholesome musical entertainment.
We are honored to work with amazing talent.
